Tharl Racers of Gor

Established June 2014 with our first race on July 2, 2014

We are a group of tharlarion enthusiasts who race twice a week on Wednesdays at 1 pm slt and Saturdays at 9 am slt. Our 25 plus participants race in four Leagues on three Division leveled G&S Tharlarions in Secondlife. Everyone is welcome to participate or just come out and watch. Our races are broadcast live on GSPN Gorean Compass Radio. Our races usually last 2 hours. We run about 17 races in all during that time. Strict script requirements of 50 or less are enforced for both racers and spectators.

Gorean Kaiila Racing Alliance

Established Sept 7, 2019 with first race on Oct 6, 2019, We no longer race on a regular schedule. For more information please contact Hips Wrigglesworth.

Kaiila are beautiful Gorean animals that are half horse and half lion. They turn on a dime and swim like fish. So much fun. Our Kaiila races are run like tournaments so no matter how many racers are racing, you only need to be faster than one other racer at a time. All are welcome to participate and to come and spectate. We are in voice so hilarity abounds.

We use Teeglepet Horses with modifications to make them closer to the Gor Kaiila in the John Norman Books. We have free rezzers at our Kaiila races so you do not need to bring your own. Just come and have some fun.

New!! The Gorean Tumit. Little known animal about the size of a large Emu, Carnivorous and cute as a button. We use the Teeglepet Strider and they are so much fun, They cuddle and dance and are great racers. We just added them to our Kaiila Races and yes, we have a rezzer for those too.

Tharlback Combat

Master Hermes was the creator and moderator for this event. We no longer have regularly scheduled tournaments.

A tharlarion ridden combat event has two parts all done on the back of a tharlarion with any melee weapon you can think of set to stronger melee mode. Our events are open to all, male or female, free or not free. Master Hermes had especially trained tharlarions for the use of the participants. The combat is to the death, well, sort of.
