Contest 1 One-on-one

Jousting (Duels) - Arena Mode

You wait outside the gate mounted on a tharlarion and announce your weapon before the fight when you are ready. A countdown will follow and the gate will open. Ride in when the gates open and fight your adversary until one of you is down. Gates close after you have entered. Stay within the arena until the fight is over, then leave again.

You may not change weapon during a fight, but from one fight to the next you may. Switching stances of the sword if of course regular whenever.

Depending on the number of participants, we do either each vs. each or eliminations.

In each vs. each-mode every couple of fighters does exactly one round; the winner receives one point.

In elimination mode you fight until one of a couple has won two rounds. This one advances to the next level (semi-finals or finals). In case 3 fighters remain, the finals consist of each fighting against each other.

Contest 2 Last Fighter Sitting

Combat Mode

All are in the arena lined up against the walls and fight on signal against all others until only one remains seated. Dead fighters stay where they are and will stay dead and not fight again even if they resurrect out of the bubble.

Once there is only one survivor, all others reset, mount again, draw, announce their weapons and fight again.

The combat is repeated until one fighter has won twice.
